Stop the Spread, Kansas
Testing plays a critical role in stopping the spread of COVID-19. Why get tested? ¿Por qué hacerse la prueba?
Reduce Your Risk
In general, the more closely you interact with others and the longer that interaction, the higher the risk of getting and spreading COVID-19. Keep these items on hand when leaving your house:
- A face mask
- Tissues
- Hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol
Pets
There's still much to learn about COVID-19, but it appears that the disease can spread from people to animals in some situations. Treat pets as you would people in terms of socialization outside of your household and isolation when someone in your household is sick. Learn more from the CDC.
Mental Health
Everyone reacts to stressful situations differently. During COVID-19, public health recommendations to reduce the spread of the disease may increase feelings of isolation, stress and anxiety. Find support for yourself and your loved ones.
Secretary Lee Norman, M.D. discusses masks.
